By downloading, installing, or using Galactic AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. License

3. The Software

Galactic AI is an open-source, local-first AI automation platform. It runs on your machine and connects to third-party AI providers using your own API keys. The software is provided free of charge.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using Galactic AI, you are responsible for:

• Your API keys — You provide your own API keys for AI providers. You are responsible for securing them and for any costs incurred through their use.
• Your content — You are responsible for any content you generate, post, or transmit using the software, including posts to social media platforms.
• Compliance — You agree to comply with the terms of service of any third-party APIs, platforms, or services you connect to through Galactic AI.
• Local security — Since all data is stored locally, you are responsible for securing your own machine and configuration files.

5. Third-Party Services

Galactic AI integrates with third-party services including but not limited to: Google AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, NVIDIA, Groq, xAI, OpenRouter, Telegram, WhatsApp, and X (Twitter). Each of these services has its own terms of service and privacy policies. Your use of these services through Galactic AI is governed by their respective terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of Galactic AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or API costs incurred through use of the software.

8. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI models through Galactic AI may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using or publishing it.

9. Automated Actions

Galactic AI can perform automated actions on your behalf, including executing system commands, managing files, browsing the web, and posting to social media. You acknowledge that these actions are performed at your direction and you accept responsibility for their outcomes.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
